Description
This Vitra Tyde 2 Home Desk is a height adjustable work desk for the ultimate flexibility in ergonomic working. Designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec this stand up sit down desk has been designed specifically for home office and study environments. l electronically operated switch allows you to adjust the height of the desk to the chosen height - from 65cm to 125 cm for standing up. It comes with a barrel shaped or rectangular top in a choise of hfinishes with dark or 'soft light' coloured base.

- Th option of a cable guide with either a simple cover (in a classic grey or pebble grey) or a cable tray, again in a the same colours

Cable Tray - This covers the enture frame of the contruction and electrical components whiclst also providing enough storage space to accommodate under table power sockets and hold excess cable. Although attache dunderneath the work surface, the polyester cable tray lends the table a certain home like quality, whilst concealing th etechnical elements and emphasising the meticulous design of the desking syatem. The material also has effective sound absorbing properties.
Cable Cover - This cover encases the tubular frame elements along the entire length and completely conceals the electric components of tghe height adjustable mechanism. Te anti collision sensor beneath the table top is also concealed under the cover. The cable is attached to the table top and the frame tubes. This ensures the user only has access to the elecrical elements needed for working the desk. Dewspite its sift textuure and slight pliability. the polyester fleece material retains its shape and contributes to good interior accoustics with its sound absorbing properties.

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec
Born in Brittany in 1971 and 1976 respectively the Bouroullec brothers have become a much sough after double act, particularly after their work with Cappellini who recognised their talent at an early stage.
