The Vitra Eames EA117 Aluminium Group Chair adapts to the curves of the body over time, delivering great comfort as well as impeccable design. With an adjustable seat height and five-star castor base, the chair allows freedom of movement as well as customisation with a range of fabrics in many colours.

Description
The Vitra EA117 Eames Chair is from the Aluminium Group range of chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames Eames from Vitra.
The EA117 has a lower back and arms with an adjustable seat height and is mounted on a five star castor base. The frame and armrests are available in either chromed or polished aluminium and the upholstery is available in two grades of leather or Hopsak in a myriad of colours. The leather versions have an Plano fabric on the back of the chair in a complementary colour to the leather. The frame also comes in a choice of finished : polished chrome, polished aluminium or a deep black.
As with all Aluminium Group chairs the EA117 comes with a thirty year Vitra guarantee.

Charles & Ray Eames
American husband and wife design duo Charles and Ray Eames have had a profound influence on the visual character of American life, producing original work within the fields of architecture, furniture design, industrial design, manufacturing and the photographic arts.
The Eames’ first partnered with Vitra in 1957 to produce some of the most iconic pieces of furniture in the history of interior design. Today Vitra continues to reflect their philosophy on design and functionality, best understood through Charles’ own words: “Recognising the need is the primary condition for the design”.
