A reissued design from the archives of celebrated British designer Robin Day, the Daystak Side Chair is produced by &Tradition to the same exacting standards first set out by Day himself in 1951.

Description
Available in a choice of two finishes, simple beech and a characterful walnut and beech hybrid, the Daystak Side Chair from &Tradition sees one of Robin Day's great early designs reissued and given the platform it truly deserves. First produced in 1951, the same year that Day designed his iconic seating arrangement for the Royal Festival Hall, the Daystak Side Chair features the same rich design language present throughout his work.
A wonderful example of great design with a real sense of heritage, Robin Day's work is known for its meticulous attention to detail, and for the beautiful sense of craftsmanship. The Daystak Side Chair is stackable up to five seats high, allowing for them to be stowed away easily, which serves as a further reminder of Day's skill as a designer.
