Tom Dixon Stone Wall Light
British designer Tom Dixon created the Stone Wall Light from marble and glass, inspired by the marble that was used to build the Taj Mahal. Strong yet beautifully tactile, the light remains delicate against the wall - a stunning piece of lighting design.
Description
The Tom Dixon Stone Wall Light is from a series of lighting and accessories inspired by the marble used to build the Taj Mahal. Tough yet tactile, the wall light features a halo hollowed from white Morwad marble cut to the thinnest possible depth. This gives the material a semi-translucent look which in turn beautifully emphasises its patterned surface. Luxe down to every last detail the light is complete with a central 'floating' ball in the form of a brass tipped bulb. It makes a stunning piece of practical yet sculptural design for commercial or residential use.
