The Cutter Folding Seat from Skagerak is part of the Cutter range designed by Niels Hvass that provides a range of functional furniture and storage pieces in a simple, slatted style.
The Cutter Folding Seat is a variation on the Cutter Bench which was originally designed for an exhibition called walk the plank. The Cutter series is created by cutting up a plank of wood and using a metal rod to add stability to the slatted style. The Folding Seat is a space-saving solution to seating. It attaches directly to the wall and can be stored upright for minimal spatial impact.
The folding seat is made from Fsc-certified oak, the stool combines structure and surface through the use of a continuous frame that's connected to the seat. Available in either a natural or black finish.
