Relaunched to reflect contemporary needs, the Mater BM3162 Børge Mogensen Conscious Chair was originally designed in 1958 by Børge Mogensen and Esben Klint design. Now manufactured with more eco-friendly materials, Mater has added a sustainable twist to this timeless mid-century dining chair.

Description
The Mater BM3162 Børge Mogensen Conscious Chair is an original 1958 design by renowned Danish furniture designer and architect Børge Mogensen and Esben Klint. Relaunched as part of Mater's Waste Series, the chair is now crafted from planet-friendly materials including FSC wood and upcycled fibre-based waste materials. A remarkable example of quintessential mid-century design, the Conscious Chair embodies the unique expertise of the two Danish designers with its highly simplistic yet functional form.
Mater's Waste Series is driven by the Danish company's circular-economic approach to production. Created using their patented Mater Circular Materials (MCM), the designs use upcycled fibrous waste material (coffee, industrial plastic, etc) to create a unique composite material that can be press-moulded to create new furniture.
