Description
The VL45 Radiohus Pendant Light was originally designed for Louis Poulsen in the 1940s by Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen. It was created specifically for the new Danish broadcasting house, the 'Radiohuset building' from which the light fitting now takes its name.
With a stunning, glossy opal shade made from three layers of mouth-blown Italian glass and an opulent brushed brass suspension, the Vl45 is an elegant statement fitting that provides a beautifully diffused, calming glow. An opening at the bottom of the lamp's shade produces a practical downward directed light while the quality glasswork ensures the fixture is evenly lit.
Available in three sizes, the Vl45 Radiohus is perfect when hung individually or in clusters of mixed sizes and its delicate rounded form allows it to look perfectly at home in an array of spaces and interior styles.
