Louis Poulsen AJ Table Lamp - Stainless Steel
Originally designed by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1960 the Louis Poulsen AJ Lamp is one of many Jacobsen designs that has since gained icon status. The AJ Table lamp is now available in Stainless Steel and creates a sharp, defined and elegant finish. The AJ emits a downward directed light and the angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimise light distribution.

Arne Jacobsen
Arne Jacobsen was born in Copenhagen in 1902 and graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in architecture in 1927. He was prolific both as an architect and as a designer. He is most famous for designing the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, and for the interior, the Egg and Swan Chair together with the Swan Sofa and Series 3300 with Fritz Hansen. This propelled the Arne Jacobsen name into furniture history.
