Description
The Kartell Be Bop Lounge Chair by designers Ludovica + Roberto Palomba fuses several chair designs from the past into one harmonious form. Looking at its silhouette one can see the influence of traditional carved African stools merging with the American designs of the golden mid-century years, echoing the forms of multi layered plywood by Charles & Ray Eames. It comes as no co-incidence then that the name ''Be bop" represents the jazz movement, characterised by a fast tempo and innovative harmonies. A relaxed and fun chair, used alone or in groups it can be used indoors or outside.
