Description
Initially crafted for a London university setting, the HAY Dapper Lounge Chair boasts an exceptionally broad backrest for comfort and ensures ideal elbow support for laptop use. Its structural configuration comprises two moulded plywood shells with oak veneer, supported by powder-coated steel legs.
Dapper offers a range of options for its shell, including stained and lacquered oak veneers, fabrics, and leather, while the frame comes in various powder-coated steel variations.

Doshi Levien is a London based design office, established in 2000 by Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien. Doshi Levien's work celebrates the hybrid and explores the coming together of cultures, technology, storytelling, industrial design and fine craftsmanship. Their Uchiwa Lounge Chair for Danish furniture & lighting supplier HAY is a capacious and inviting lounge chair that takes inspiration from a Japanese hand fan. Ths has recently been added to with the extensive Hay Qulton Sofa collection.
