Description

When creating the simple and stylish Apex Desk Lamp for HAY, British designer John Tree merged archetypal references with his contemporary, colourful sensibility, drawing cues from the classic Banker’s Light.

The lamp’s name is derived from the peaked roofline silhouette, an inspiration born from the meticulously folded steel shade that also provides a vivid graphic contrast against the chrome-plated bases. The colourful shade, accompanied by a round base and angled arm, boasts a 360-degree rotation capability, empowering users to effortlessly direct light according to their needs.

From serving as a reading lamp on a bedside cabinet to functioning as a task light on a desk, the Apex Desk Lamp offers a versatile lighting solution across various spaces and applications.
