The Gubi Flaneur Three Seater Sofa with Chaise Longue, designed by GamFratesi is a striking piece that offers a contemporary appeal with an echo of the classical in a simple, elegant piece, perfect for the modern home. Its considered, modern proportions, crafted upholstery details, and meticulous stitching make it instantly, yet modestly, recognizable in any specification.
In designing Flaneur, the design duo have reimagined the nineteenth-century roll-arm sofa, known for its undulating profile, deep seats and low rolled arms, to produce a couch that offers complete relaxation in any setting. A slender wooden frame atop metal legs is filled with generous, soft cushions, curved for a snug fit around the armrest, facilitating both seated and reclined positions.
A feature of the Flaneur we think is particularly appealing is the removable cover, which transforms a beautiful centrepiece into an important, usable piece of furniture for the modern home.
