Flos Chiara Table Lamp
First debuted in 1969, the Chiara Lamp designed by architect Mario Bellini is named after the elegant Italian expression "to shed light". With a bold architectural form this lamp features an innovative domed hood that reflects and softens the light. 50 years later this design classic has been reimaged. The Chiara Lamp, an icon of lighting architecture, is now available as a table lamp in a range of finishes.

- Materials : Aluminium in 3 colour variations, finished internally with an opaque white plastic film and folded and closed via hooks riveted to the sheet metal.

And so, instead of saying ‘let’s design a lamp’, I said, ‘let’s design an apparatus that can take light from an artificial source and send it back into our surroundings with a certain intelligence and grace'" - Mario Bellini
First debuted in 1969, the Chiara Lamp designed by architect Mario Bellini is named after the elegant Italian expression "to shed light". With a bold architectural form, this lamp features an innovative domed hood that reflects and softens light. 50 years later this design classic has been reimaged. The Chiara Floor Lamp, an icon of lighting architecture, is now available as a Table Lamp in a range of finishes. The lamp is available in three shades, each with a different coloured trim.
A stainless steel cut-out, wrapped and closed via riveted hooks houses the bulb, whilst a large open shade, tilted at 45 degrees acts as a reflector of light. Bellini designed the lamp to act as an apparatus that gracefully guides light into its surroundings, casting a gentle illumination from a table or sideboard.
