Scandinavian Style

The term "Scandi style "or "nordic inspired" have become part of common parlance in recent years but what exactly do they mean? Generally today, at least in the world of interior, when people talk of Scandinavian furniture or interior style they're referring to spaces that boast white walls to emphasise light, neutral colour palettes, natural materials & textures, soft furnishing and minimal, functional layouts.
