A design that has well and truly stood the test of time, the Robin Day 675 Chair was initially introduced almost 75 years ago, and is today reissued by Case Furniture. Available in a range of upholstery and finish options, Day's chair is as relevant today as ever.

Description
First introduced in 1952, the 675 Chair stands as one of Robin Day's most recognisable pieces, and one of the all-time great pieces of British furniture design. Released today by Case Furniture, the 675 reissue has been produced in close collaboration with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation, ensuring that it's authentic to the original design in as many ways as possible.
Considered to be pioneering at the time of its introduction, the chair features a backrest that uses a single curve to create a fluid shape, with the back-piece naturally extending into arm-rests. The finished piece is one which takes full advantage of the organic aesthetic of the wooden elements of the backrest, fuses them with an upholstered seat and metal legs. Perfect for use in a number of roles, from dining chair to office chair, the 675 is a piece which has stood the test of time and is certain to continue to do so.
