Artemide Melampo Floor Lamp
The Melampo Floor Lamp was the first lamp of its kind to utilise technology to allow a tilting shade mechanism to redirect light. Because of this, the lamp is ideal for reading or ambient lighting. Melampo is available in two sizes and two finishes: grey and natural.

Description
The Melampo Floor Lamp was one of the first floor lights to use pivoting head technology to vary light direction. Though fairly conventional in appearance with a simple tilting motion the shade can be positioned at a 30 degree angle - perfect for reading or task working - or pointed straight upwards to create an up-lighter effect. Designed by Adrien Gardere for Artemide it comes in two sizes and two finishes - aluminium structure with a silver grey silk satin shade or bronze structure with a neutral coloured shade. The larger version also features a dimmer to vary the level of illumination.
The Melampo series also includes the Melampo Wall Light and Melampo Table and Bedside Lamp.
